Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains how Developernauts (doing business as RacketMix) ('we', 'us', or 'our') uses cookies and similar technologies to recognise you when you visit our website at https://www.racketmix.com ('Website'). It explains what these technologies are, why we use them, and your rights to control them.

In some cases we may use cookies to collect personal information, or that becomes personal information if we combine it with other information about your RacketMix account, player profile, or subscription. For details about how we handle personal information generally, please see our Privacy Policy.

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small data files placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. They are widely used by website owners to make their sites work, to make them work more efficiently, and to provide reporting information.

Cookies set by the website owner (in this case, Developernauts) are called 'first-party cookies'. Cookies set by parties other than the website owner are called 'third-party cookies'. Third-party cookies enable third-party features or functionality to be provided on or through the website (for example, analytics). The parties that set these third-party cookies can recognise your browser both when it visits the website in question and when it visits certain other websites.

Why We Use Cookies

We use first- and third-party cookies for two main reasons. Some cookies are required for technical reasons in order for our Website to operate — for example, to keep you signed in to your RacketMix account and to protect submissions against Cross-Site Request Forgery. We refer to these as 'essential' or 'strictly necessary' cookies.

Other cookies help us understand how visitors use the Website in aggregate, so we can improve the tournament, ranking, and subscription experience. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles about you, and we do not sell information collected via cookies to third parties.

How to Control Cookies

You have the right to decide whether to accept or reject non-essential cookies. The most reliable way to control cookies is through your web browser settings, which let you accept, refuse, or delete cookies on a per-site basis. See the Browser Controls section below for links to the most popular browsers.

Essential cookies cannot be rejected without affecting how the Website works — for example, if you block them you will not be able to sign in to your account or submit forms. The specific first- and third-party cookies served through our Website are described below.

These cookies are strictly necessary to provide you with services available through our Website and to use some of its features, such as signing in to your account.

How can I control cookies on my browser?

As the means by which you can refuse cookies through your web browser controls vary from browser to browser, you should visit your browser's help menu for more information. The following is information about how to manage cookies on the most popular browsers:

  • Chrome
  • Firefox
  • Safari
  • Edge
  • Opera

Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in or submitting forms on the Website. Blocking analytics cookies will not affect your use of the Website.

What about other tracking technologies, like web beacons?

Cookies are not the only way to recognise or track visitors to a website. We may use other, similar technologies from time to time, like web beacons (sometimes called 'tracking pixels' or 'clear gifs'). These are tiny graphics files that contain a unique identifier and allow us to understand, in aggregate, how visitors move through the Website. In many cases these technologies rely on cookies to function properly, so declining cookies will impair their functioning.

We do not use web beacons inside transactional emails (such as account confirmations, password resets, or contact-form replies) to track whether you have opened them.

Mobile App and Local Storage

The RacketMix mobile app (available on the Apple App Store and Google Play) does not use browser cookies. Instead, the app may store the following information locally on your device using standard mobile storage APIs:

  • Authentication tokens that keep you signed in to your RacketMix account between sessions.
  • App preferences such as language, appearance (light/dark), and notification settings.
  • Cached tournament, ranking, and player-profile data so the app remains usable with limited connectivity.
  • Push notification tokens used to deliver match and tournament updates if you have opted in.

Subscription and in-app purchase state is managed by Apple App Store (In-App Purchases) and Google Play Billing. We do not store your payment card details.

You can clear locally stored data at any time by signing out, clearing the app's storage in your device settings, or uninstalling the app.

Do you serve targeted advertising?

No. RacketMix does not serve targeted or behavioural advertising on the Website or in the mobile app. We do not use cookies or similar technologies to build advertising profiles, and we do not share information collected via cookies with advertising networks.

The only third-party service that sets cookies through our Website is Google Analytics, which is used solely for aggregated traffic measurement as described above.

How often will you update this Cookie Policy?

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect, for example, changes to the cookies we use or to address operational, legal, or regulatory requirements. Please revisit this Cookie Policy regularly to stay informed about our use of cookies and related technologies.

The date at the top of this Cookie Policy indicates when it was last updated.
